Whip n Spur Trash Company is owned and operated by Donnie & Irene Darr, residents of Vail, AZ since 1993.  We bought an existing garbage collection business in 2004, and have successfully expanded the customer base and collection territory.  We strive to perform a very necessary service to the community by collecting and disposing of our customers trash on a weekly basis to help with any diseases that may be spread by insects, birds and other rodents and wildlife when garbage if left to rot.

We provide pickup of household solid waste (garbage/rubbish), no dangerous or hazardous materials (poisons, acids, caustics, infected materials or explosives, construction debris, dead animals exceeding 75 pounds).

We also collect recycle materials i.e.: aluminum/metal cans, plastic beverage containers, newspaper, corrugated cardboard and glass bottles or jars, visit www.tucsonaz.gov/tcb  for more information about recycle materials.

We currently operate in the rural areas south and southeast of Tucson in Pima County, AZ, i.e.:  Vail, Rocking K Estates, Thunderhead Ranch, Escalante Road, Golf Links Rd., Freeman Rd., Old Spanish Trail Rd., Rincon Valley, Marsh Station Rd.,  Sonoita Hwy., New Tucson, Corona De Tucson and rural Sahuarita east and west of I-19.

We offer bulk hauling of various types of debris, which includes horse manure, yard waste, tree trimmings, garage clean out, move-outs/ins, call and we can see if we can haul.  These services are on an as-needed basis and would need to be scheduled.

We schedule days of regular weekly service depending upon your location.  We offer once and twice weekly service, both of which include only once weekly recycling pickup at no additional charge. 

Rates starting at $22 per month for weekly and $36 per month for twice weekly service.   We bill for 4 months in a billing period.

All garbage and recycled materials must be bagged and tied, and limited to 3 - 35 gallon  bags OR 10 - 13 gallon bags per pickup.  Our drivers start at 7:00 a.m., we recommend that you have your garbage & recycles out by 7:00 a.m.

We observe the following Holidays:  New Years Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas, ONLY if it falls on a weekday.

Presently we do not provide garbage or recycling containers, but do recommend that you have one to keep animals out.  We require all garbage and recycle items be bagged and tied to prevent litter and ensure no public health hazard, to ensure vector control and reduce odor.
